The Great Indian Budget

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on 1 February 2021 presented the budget. For the finance minister during the contemporary economic difficult situation, the challenge is to make a budget. To make a budget will be a challenge in which there is some thing for all the people. The people have suffered due to coronavirus and the people have a lot more to do with the budget this time. Expectations from the Finance Minister while preparing the budget is to pay attention to the three main topics: First-coming budget to be based on aspirational India because people are very hopeful of this budget. Second-to be based on the development of people. Third- the authorities should take care of the proper implementation of the budget. It is clear from these three points that the upcoming budget is for the unprecedented construction of India and the entire people of India. It should be done keeping an eye on the centre and state relations. India aims for 5 trillion economy by 2024-2025. The goal of creating this is very challenging. Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, the central government aims to double farmers’ income by 2022. For this government passed 3 farm bills. But the current situation has brought sudden shock to the Government. It knows that without strengthening the rural area, to achieve the goal is not possible.
To fulfil it’s goal, it needs to keep a special watch on the villages, fields, farmers, horticulture and pay more attention to the development of rural areas. In the upcoming budget, the government should know that farmers and the income of the people living in the villages will not increase until their purchasing power increases. Until the farmers income increases and their real purchasing power increases, 5 trillion economy will remain a mirage. So, the upcoming budget is going to be very challenging.
India is facing today the challenge to create such a budget in contemporary times in which the poorest of poor people live their dignified life to achieve a state of safety.
Meeting the basic needs of people should be part of the Government plan and should be reflected in the upcoming budget.
